Todays update includes some videos to You Tube from Germany, including videos of trains at the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, and of the Harz Narrow Guage Railways (old East German Narrow Guage Steam). Plus added some pictures to Flickr of Walla Walla Valley Transit, and Seattle Transit/King County Metro Flxible Fishbowls.

Everett and Skykomish

Made a trip today to rail fan the Everett and Skykomish area with a friend. At Everett we found Amtrak's Empire Builder sitting in the station being serviced. The train has been terminating in Everett due to continual mud and land slides on the line to Seattle. While checking out the local area, we also saw a set of BNSF local power and an intermodal train lead by 3 GE's pass by on the low line in Everett. Later in the afternoon east of Skykomish at the Foss Creek Bridge, we saw a westbound z-train crossing the Foss river bridge, followed by an eastbound mixed freight.

A small trip to Bellingham

Made a small trip to Bellingham today. At the intermodal terminal shared by Amtrak and greyhound there was an MTR western provost H3-45 most likely on an Amtrak run. Also just up the street is a old British (aec?) double deck bus that has been converted into a small restaurant.

Also, i uploaded more pictures to Flickr and a couple of videos to YouTube.

Where did busdude.com go?

Welcome to the new version of Busdude.com.

This is the new version of Busdude.com. Over the past year i have been moving my photos over to Flickr and videos on YouTube. I've been finding that it’s been easier, and more successful than hosting my self. I'm sure you've also noticed that my website probably hasn’t changed much, as I’ve been spending most of that time working on getting my photos transferred over to Flicker (And I still have 3600 to go). So when my web hosting contract came due for renewal, I decided not to renew it and point the domain name here instead. There isn’t much on my blog yet except my trip to Europe in September of this year, although I hope to keep it updated with trip reports. And of course at the top of the page you will find links to my Flickr Photos and Videos on YouTube.

Enjoy!
