These buses were originally built as trolleybuses in 1976 and converted to Diesel buses after Expo 86. 1109 and 1110 the two ice scraping buses have been preserved by trams, the rest of the buses were scrapped. Some of the buses lost their engines and transmissions, and the transmissions were put into the remaining GMC T6H-4523N's. When converted to diesel, they were powered by 6V91 and V730 transmissions out of retired Flyer D700 buses.
