BC Transit had purchased 100 Flyer E901A Trolley Coaches that were built in 1982. They have Westinghouse Electrical components. The last day for the E901 coaches was Friday April 18, 2008 with 2704, 2711, 2719, 2752 in service.  Coach 2704 along with 2805 may be preserved by the Transit Museum Society for use on fantrips and excursions.

Coach 2805, an E902 made the last revenue run for the Flyer Trolley coaches on 4-20-2008. Angus McIntyre was the driver for the last one, on run 06-003. It pulled into Vancouver Transit Center at 1:46 AM on 4-21-08. It pulled into the Vancouver Transit Centre for the last time . A farewell to the Flyer E900 fan trips were held on the April 26, and April 27th 2008. All Trips started at the Marpole loop.
