BC Transit purchased 21 New Flyer D60s in 1991. They were mothballed in 2000 and 2001. At the time coaches 3001, 3002, 3021 were overhauled and eventually transferred to West Vancouver Municipal Transit 912-914. Starting in 2002 Translink has been overhauling the rest of the fleet and returning them to service.
