Jefferson Transit

Jefferson Transit is the Transit Agency for Jefferson County. Their website is http://www.jeffersontransit.com. 

During May-June of 2009 they ran special buses for the Three week closure and reconstruction of the eastern half of the Hood Canal Bridge. They called the system "Hood Canal Tranist". The fleet included 5 ex Community Transit Orion 5.501s 433, 434, 435, 437, 439, A Bluebird leased from the Grant Transit Authority # 3105, and Clallum Transit Gillig Phantom # 590. All were ran from the Shine pit, a large pitsite turned P&R on the west side of the canal.
