Seattle Transit bought 100 Flxible Buses in 1963 to replace trolleybuses. All were retired by 1985. The Metro Employees Historic Vehicles Association Saved bus #598, and During 1996 they repainted it back into Seattle Transit System Red/Silver colors which was the second paint scheme it wore. The Bus was originally delivered in the White/Green paint scheme. This bus is often used for charters and Historical Excursions
