Metro Purchased 15 35foot Gillig Phantoms in 1997 as part of their larger 350 coach order for 40fts. These coaches replaced the 35foot Flyer D10235Cs. Coaches 3198 and 3199 are known as the "Center Park buses" because they have had most of the passenger seats removed and replaced with spaces for wheelchairs and the rear doors sealed.
