4020 1986 MAN SGT-310

In 1986 Seattle Metro purchased 46 MAN SGT-310 Trolley coaches. They had Siemens DC Chopper Controllers, and Siemens KB2021 traction motors. They have capacity for 64 passengers, and 3 wheelchairs. Were 59ft and 10inches long and were 102" wide and 11ft 3" tall. They weighed 40,440lbs empty. They had Ohio Brass trolley poles with Delachaux Retreivers. They were retired and replaced in-between 2004 and 2007 by converted Breda ADPB 350s in the 4200 series that were replaced with New Flyer DE60LFs for use in the DSTT. 

Coach 4020 has been donated to the Illinois Railroad Museum in Union, Il. It made one final fan trip in Seattle on 9-14-07 and was suppose to be loaded on a flat car and sent to union by the end of September, but as of this writing it was still stored by metro at their South Base waiting for IRM to find a flatcar to load it onto for the trip east.
