Pierce Transit's Standard Shuttle van is the Eldorado National Areotech with a ford chassis. Pierce Transit subcontracts most of the shuttle service out to Laid Law, However they do operate some of it, and the "Bus Plus" service which is are fixed/flexible routes for rural areas. Shuttle Vans occasionally also get used in place of Fixed route coaches for detours and inclement weather. All of the original order of Eldorado/Areotech vans have or will soon be retired and replaced with 2005 model Areotech's in the New Pierce Transit Paint scheme, and with a new interior.

Coaches in the 4920 series were re-striped for "BusPlus" And Equipped with Bike Racks. Coaches 4922-4924 were equipped with a front Twin Vision destination sign for use on the 61 NE Tacoma BusPlus until new vehicles could be bought. All the BusPlus vans were replaced by new Eldorado Areotech's in the 5800 series, with a Front, Side, and Rear TwinVision destination sign, higher seating capacity, and Front Bike Racks.
