Muni needed more cars for the F-Market line, so in 1998 they purchased a dozen cars from Milan, Italy. These cars were built in 1929 of a Peter Witt design, and in Milan they are called Ventotto which means 28, as in the year of their birth (1928). The first car (1859) was delivered to Geneva Division on November 24th 1998.
