Sound Transit leased 20 Breda ADPB 350 DuoBuses from King County Metro
in late 1999 for use on the route 550, which was formerly King Co. Metro route
226. The twenty coaches were 5019-5021, 5194-5210. 5019-5021 were equipped with
Automatic Passenger Counting equipment, while 5194-5210 were not. They were all
ran from King County Metro's East Base, and were painted in Sound Transit
Colors. They were replaced with New Flyer DE60LF coaches similar to the King Co.
Metro order except with high back seats with cloth upholstery, and overhead
luggage bins. All of these coaches have since been retired and returned to King
Co. Metro for disposal.
