Sound Transit Purchased 20 New Flyer C40LF buses for Pierce Transit ran ST Express routes. These were purchased as an add-on to a Pierce Transit order. All Entered Service in August-September 2001. They have the Cummins CNG C8.3 and an Allison B400R.
