Tri-Met bought 2 40ft Gillig Phantoms powered by LNG. They had Cummins L10G engines fueled by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and Voith D863.2T transmissions. Both buses were painted in a special "environmental" paint scheme depicting grass, birds, etc. These buses were retired around 2002. |
